About the Instructor:

Pat Lipsky is a color field painter and writer based in New York. Her work is represented by Eric Firestone Gallery in New York and East Hampton. Her art has been widely exhibited in 24 museum collections such as the Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn, NY; Harvard Art Museums, Cambridge, MA; Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Washington, D.C.; San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco, CA; and the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, NY. Lipsky's articles have appeared in “The New Criterion”, “Tablet Magazine”, “Public Books”, “The Awl” and others.

Her auto-fiction book Mercer Green Wester will be published in the United States in 2025.
